Właśnie ukazała się najnowsza książka Bernadette McDonald pt: Freedom Climbers poświęcona historii polskiego himalaizmu. Nie ma jeszcze polskiego wydawcy.
Autorka oraz Wydawnictwo Rocky Mountain Books jest zainteresowane tematem największej polskiej tragedii himalajskiej na Evereście `89. Planowane jest wydanie książki wraz z filmem dokumentalnym w roku 2012.
